Fill’r up please!

A tough week. Doing the last hard work before resting and loading for the coming races. Today we did some 1000mtr pieces all flat out. It went pretty ok, and I think have taken a good step forward from the last race in Farsta. But we are not ready yet. Tomorrow its 500mtr pieces.
Ironical the hardest week of training comes in a week where Point65 opened its new shop in Pampas marina. Tuesday and wednsday I worked 20 hours… Zapping up and down to work and to training on the scooter is nearly the highlite of the day. The little machine seems to like and have so much fun driving it. It is sort of the charm of not having so much power in the engine, so the sport is to keep the speed up all the time. The 4,5 litres of fuel she guzzles a week is nicely refilled by the skilled hands of Tom. tom-bertling.jpg
You know, who runs the shell station by the bridge. He’s got THE best coffee hangout in town and its a real pleasure to roll in there. While sipping on some freshly grounded caffe latte he takes controll of refueling and filling the oil. Tom’s not only a coffee grinder and petrol guy but is even a part time tv celebrity as he stars in Channel 5’s homestyling program! How cool is that haha!
Its really gives the rowing a little extra edge with this kind of support! It is also nice to have someone say hi every morning where I turn my boat at the far end of the lake.
