From the Water to the trails…
15 04 2007Still no rowing…
But the good news is that my rib problem was actually stumach muscle gone bad. Its hurting a lot less, and I hope to be on the water again by the end of next week. So far I have been kicking up a some sweat on stationary bikes. Its awfull.

Pedalling away on for an hour with legs wondering what is happening is really even more boring than the rowing machine. But my new Metallica discs on my Ipop are doing great!
Today I could not resist the great weahter any longer. I pulled my aluminium race horse out of the back of the wardrobe, lubed the chain, tightened an axle and pumped the tires. Last night I got the great iddea of biking the Liddingö loppet trail. A 30km trail around Lidingö that is the battle ground for the infamous Liddingö loppet. Its a fast trail that is magic for bikers as it is hilly, fast and goes along nice forests, along the coast and best of all is not to far from home.
The hours on the gymbike paid off and it felt great! Man, it makes me longing for the Alps again…I’ll give it an other run tomorrow and stop off at Bosön to do a session at the gym.

good thing is that ‘multisport’ is re-entering your life
PS, that was a nicely spent summer (including those 21.000 + alt. meters) Arnoud
Absoluut Arnoud!
