New Wheels!
12 04 2007Ok, I swapped the huge Nissan Patrol with the 4,5liter 6cyl engine for something else now…It uses less than a 15th of the gas and is even faster in town!
Ok it is a bit embarasing to buy when you are in the shop. Felt a bit like buying tampons or something. The shopguys at Vespa Service askes me if my son was as big as me…yeah thanks. 
But I’m now really smoothly zapping around Stockholm. 7 minutes to the club, 18 to Bosön, Lets see how long it takes to go to our new Point65 headquarters!
No more parking, road tax, fuel guzzling or even a drop of sweat from now on. Great. Dont get in my way, I try to keep the cruising speed of 45km/h as much as possible

Regarding your wheels: good job on your CO2 ‘mobility footprint’…(I can bank some CO2 credits for you
) Though, I only like those scooters for providing me with windshadow here…
PS, I would love to see the two of you going on holiday on the scooter (including gear).

That is a no go Arnoud….no scooter holidays. This meanmachine is only for home - training - work transport…Must say it is an absolute onbeatable way af getting around town…

mmmm…50 degrees heat and 50 degree slopes is not a good combi for this little fella…keep to the airconditioned Land Cruiser I would say.
