Rowing

My goal for this season is to develop as much as possible as a sculler. I am in the lucky posistion of having great competition here in Sweden to benchmark my progress with. As only one boat of each type may enter the World Championships it might be tough for me to set my goals just on that. I am however hopefull on being sent to at least 2 World Cup races were I will test my selft against the rest of the rowing world…

Preperations and developments throughout the winter (training camps, erg tests, lab tests etc) have all more or less gone to plan. I have improved physically and technically. Most of all technically I have a lot of speed left to gain!

So, a great challenge in the single! Lets see where it will end….

The following races are planned for the 2007 season:

- Czech nationals longdistans: did not compete due to injury
- Borås longdistans race (Swedish selection race) : 2nd place
- Farsta regatta (Swedish selection) : 2nd place, 1st place double scull
- Linz Rowing World Cup Austria : 31st place :-(
- Nordic Championships : 3rd place
- Amsterdam World Cup Holland : 9th place :-)
- Lucern World Cup Switzerland : 13th place :-/

Results 2006

1st place in the quad (4x)
1st place in the eight (8+)
2nd place in the single (1x)
- Silverskiff Turino Italiy: 12th place

Hej Paul,
