Amsterdam will be the background for World cup no2. From my first year of racing I allready chose to compete in Hollands biggest race then called ‘Holland Beker’. Slowly but surely I progressed in it. Last year racing there in the double with Peter made that I was not participating in the skiff field. This year however I will be in the little one man boat,…and so will 36 others. The worlds best will be there…

Last weeks racing has told me that the speed is there to be able to go to the bigger finals. But, the major trick now will be to be able to survive and get through the heats, and repechages without blowing the gasket allready there…
Struggling with a massive hayfeaver also makes it sometimes a bit tricky…Wow…now I’ve got a cold…ooh maybe not, you know..dripping nose, itchy eyes, sinus filled with crap. I hate June.
