Yesterday the funniest thing happened…

Henke and I were out on the water both in singles. He thinks its a good iddea to coach a bit from an other single so he gets more direct feedback of what I am doing etc… The weather was total crap. It was more than storm (18m/s) white horsen on the water and freezing cold. One of those days that changing to training gear just takes a long time. Looking out of the window of the changing room…is that wind getting less now?..yeah, that tree stopped moving…whhoooossh, shit no.

After 6km’s we came to Djurgårdsbron a bridge right in town. We turned and somebody on the bridge shouted something. Heee! Its Jocke, Stockholm’s most experienced bike messangers and former national team rower. ‘Heej man what do you want?….He climbed over a small fence and came out to the small dock. ‘I got a parcell from UPS from you, its from Canada!’… I knew Hudson Boatworks had sent me some small parts I needed that were on the way with UPS. So I signed on his UPS computer thing and I told him to drop the package of at my office. Henrik was sitting in his boat waiting and wondering what on earth is happening.

So, safe to say that the UPS bike messengers know their clients. Aah, a parcell for Paul R, lets see, where do we find him most of time?…Lets check the water? Good call Jocke!

Today the wind was not a whole lot better, but at least we were 3 single out and Janne chased me all over the place! Great fun.
